VI. Accreditation Procedures

1. Accreditation Application Submission: An organization seeking accreditation sends the accreditation application to the Secretary of the Accreditation Committee(in-house format).

2. Candidate Member(Candidate Member) Status Grant: The Chairman reviews the accreditation application within 2 weeks of receiving it, grants Candidate Member status, and notifies the applicant, and the applicant organization prepares a self-evaluation report for accreditation. Candidate Member status is valid for 2 years.

3. Self-Evaluation Report Submission: AETA format self-evaluation report shall be submitted to the Chairman at least 3 months before the Accreditation Evaluation Team's visit(AETA format).

4. Accreditation Evaluation Team Visit(On-site Inspection): The Chairman, in consultation with the accreditation applicant and accreditation committee members, schedules the visit of the accreditation evaluation team and conducts the on-site inspection.

5. Accreditation: After the Accreditation Evaluation Team's visit(on-site inspection), the Accreditation Committee deliberates the inspection report and determines whether to grant accreditation. And it shall be ratified at the next AETA General Assembly. Accreditation of schools/training centers means accrediting the ministry-related programs provided by the institution.

6. Annual Report: Report annually the number of students/trainees, changes in the number of faculty members and other progress status to the Chairman.

7. Re-accreditation: All institutions must obtain re-accreditation every 5 years. Within the 5-year term, the accreditation application must be submitted and the above procedures must be followed.
