AETA confesses the following articles of faith.

1. The Old and New Testament Scriptures are the Word recorded by God's inspiration, and are the only infallible standard for faith and practice.

2. In the Godhead there are three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one God. The substance is one and their power and glory are equal.

3. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is the true God and true man. He died on the cross for the redemption of mankind's sins, rose again on the third day, and is seated at the right hand of God. He is now interceding for us, and will come again to judge the living and the dead.

4. The work of the Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and misery, enlightens their hearts to know Lord Jesus Christ, renews their will, works with power, and enables them to produce the fruit of righteousness.

5. The blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the only ground for the salvation of sinners by faith.

6. The true church is comprised of all redeemed members who have Jesus Christ as the head and are united in one body by the Holy Spirit.

7. After bodily death, believers will rejoice with the Lord and enjoy eternal blessing, while unbelievers will receive judgment and eternal punishment.
